YANNI DECONESCU

Yanni brings a breadth of diverse expertise in both profit and non-profit sectors. He serves as the Director of Strategic Initiatives for Opportunities for a Better Tomorrow, a New York-based non-profit organization whose mission is to break the cycle of poverty and inequity through education, job training, and employment for youth, individuals, and families in underserved communities. In his role, Yanni directs the strategic planning, research, development, implementation and execution of new, innovative, and diverse range of complex projects across various functional areas of the agency aligned to support the strategic growth of OBT mission and vision.
Yanni is credentialed as a Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) by the Center for Credentialing and Education (CCE); he graduated with a Master's Degree in Industrial & Labor Relations from Cornell University, and holds a B.S. in Business Management & Economics from SUNY Empire State College.
