RAMONA CHIRILA

Ramona Chirila is the Executive Director of the RePatriot project, an initiative that aims to reconnect Romanians abroad with their country of origin and to encourage them to invest in business in Romania. In 2015 Ramona graduated as a Mason Fellow with a Master's degree in Public Administration from Harvard University, at the John F Kennedy School of Government, where she has received two special awards for her outstanding contribution to the Harvard community and for her academic results. Before studying at Harvard, Ramona lived in South Africa where she volunteered for a children's charity Cotlands. Prior to leaving Romania, Ramona had a successful career at thelargest bank in Romania where she was promoted through the ranks to be Advisor and then finally Chief of Staff to 3 successive CEOs and simultaneously the first Head of Community Affairs, in which role she launched the community involvement strategy of the Bank which comprised several large social projects that became landmark initiatives for the Bank.

Ramona is committed to the development of Romania and its people and Romania's position in the world by partnering with all like minded people and organisations to achieve that better future together.
