The Nicolae Iorga Lecturer's Chair and the Romanian Language Program at Columbia University in New York will return as of September 2024. The program and registration for courses will be accessible at the same time at Yale, Princeton, Rutgers, Penn State and Harvard Universities

Back to my old alma mater, with former classmate and colleague Sandra Pralong, now veteran presidential advisor to Mr. Klaus Iohannis, the Romanian Head of State. With us, Mrs. Mihaela Simona Florea, Consul General of Romania in New York, and her colleagues. The not so “mission impossible” is to revive the Nicolae Iorga Chair for Romanian language at this top US ivy league school. In “our corner”, Christopher Kaiser, Ph.D. Associate Director Language Resource Center and Stéphane Charitos, Ph.D., Director Language Resource Center.
