President Klaus Iohannis visited New York this Thursday to meet prominent members of the Romanian-American diaspora and speaking about his new book EU.RO. During the event, Mr. Iohannis answered questions about Romania’s current and future standing in the European community. He also spoke about the steps he believes necessary to secure Romania’s future position as a global business leader. The President might be fighting an uphill battle at home, but he made new friends and partners in New York. After the live interview, the Mr. Iohannis signed copies of his book, took pictures with supporters, and met prominent Romanian-Americans.
