Governor Hochul is the first female Governor of the State of New York. Mrs. Hochul began her career in public service on her local Town Board, before serving as Erie County Clerk, and then as a member of Congress for New York’s 26th Congressional District. She more recently served in statewide office as Lieutenant Governor and now as the first female Governor of the State of New York. The Empire State remains be challenging place to govern, following the Pandemic, the alarming rise in crime, especially in the transit system, as well as the unprecedented flood of illegal immigrants that has plagued the City of New York.

The Romanian American Business Council has pledged its support for the Hochul administration efforts, during a fundraising organized by the Cozen O’Connor Law Firm, last Thursday.

During the event, Stefan Minovici has expressed his gratitude for the help and support offered by the Governor’s office in organizing the Romania Day Festival on Broadway, celebrating next month its XXIII Edition.
