Mihai is a 42-years old PR strategist and campaign director with over 15 years of experience in public relations. In 1998 he graduated from University of Bucharest with a B.A. degree in Orthodox Theology and French literature.
Mihai has worked at SOFTWIN since 2000, where he supervised all communication activities related to BitDefender since 2001, including mass media relations and information services. Mihai also oversaw the preparation of all advertising and marketing materials. He is the author of a number of articles and reviews covering information security in both Romanian and international media. According to a Brand Academy study performed in February 2005, regarding the most wide-spread Romanian brands on the Internet, after four years on the market, BitDefender brand topped the first position.
Mihai gathered multiple essential media contacts in the industry, achieving publication in most famous international media outlets: New York Times, Washington Post, Daily Telegraph, ABC News, Fox News, BBC News, MSNBC, CNET publications, etc. (over 100 media outlets around the world), being quoted as a BitDefender spokesperson.
Since 2006, he was the Managing Director of the Romanian subsidiary of AMI Communications. In 2011, Mihai became Managing Partner in AMICOM Consulting & Strategy. He provides Public Relations and Public Affairs services to multi-billion companies, such as Chevron, BAE Systems, Kraft Foods representing their communication interests in Romania.
