DORU PAUL P.H.D.
Dr. Doru Paul has been working as a physician in New York since 1996 and is currently an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College and a Hematology-Oncology Attending at the New York Presbyterian Hospital.
He is an expert in the treatment of head and neck and thoracic cancers. Demonstrating a national and international presence in his field, he has widely presented his research defining specific therapeutic targets or processes that can be targeted for the improved treatment of cancer patients.
Dr. Paul received his MD from the Carol Davila Faculty of Medicine in Bucharest, Romania in 1993. In 1994-1996 he received his Clinical Oncology Diploma, and his Master Degree in the Biology of Aging from Paris, France.
Dr. Paul has a strong background as a translational and clinical researcher. He has been Principal Investigator on more than 30 clinical studies, and, he has designed and initiated FDA approved investigational new drug studies. In 2016, he received a PhD in Personalized Clinical Oncology with a focus on the treatment of advanced lung cancers.
