RABC Romania welcomes new International VP Bogdan Florea

Bogdan Florea, founder and majority shareholder of Connections Consult S.A., graduated from the Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications in English, at the Polytechnic of Bucharest, obtaining the Diploma in Engineering, in 2002. He has an EMBA at the University of Vienna and international technical studies at Technische Universiteit Eindhoven and Vrije Universiteit Brussels.
After graduating from the university, Bogdan worked as a software engineer in the semiconductor industry, at Motorala/Freescale Semiconductor Romania. Since 2005, he has been coordinating Connections, being involved in strategic development and international expansion. Bogdan has extensive experience in new digital technologies, software architectures and general management best practices.
Connections is the leader on the digital transformation market in Romania, has 300 employees, offices in Bulgaria and Serbia and sales representatives in Germany and Saudi Arabia. The company specializes in Intelligent Automation, IT Infrastructure Support, Digital Business Process Management and Software Development On Demand. Connections clients are global companies and medium-sized Romanian companies in industries such as Banking, FMCG, Oil & Gas, Telecom and Retail. Since July 2018, Connections has partnered with UiPath, the fastest-paced Enterprise Robotic Process Automation (RPA) platform, with which it has already successfully implemented robotic automation processes in key industries. At the same time, Connections has invested over 400,000 euros in the development of software products for various industries, such as auditing and consulting, green energy and bots specialized in accounting and HR.
Professionally, Bogdan is passionate about innovative software architectures, organizational process management (distributed organizations), artificial intelligence and blockchain. Bogdan has the PMP certification and courses in Design Thinking. As hobbies, he is interested in history and social sciences (philosophy, sociology, anthropology, economics).
